Finally, the Sasquatch Assimilation Society (S.A.S.) is seeing a positive turn of events in our struggle for Sasquatch equality. We persevered after a series of significant setbacks, and now Skitch is out on bail and living in a trailer on the edge of town. We are back on track with some (hopefully) positive press from the HELENA INDEPENDENT RECORD. I’m not going to bore you by writing about our tribulations when I can wow you with great video. If you’re not up to speed on our assimilation efforts, you can catch up here:
So, the very accomplished and lovely Peggy O’Neill was kind enough to meet Skitch, S.A.S. host-mom Dana Holzer, and me for an interview. The highlights, those sections I found relevant, are included in the video below. My sense of Ms. O’Neill is that she is a bit of a bleeding heart softy. This should pay off in the profile she pens of Skitch, but made for a long half hour. Frankly, I felt criticized. Do I need sensitivity training or is it really that offensive to help a Sasquatch make a living by dressing him up in a pink tutu and teaching him to ride a mini-bike? Excuuuuse me…
Either way, I am heading into the Colorado boonies today to chase a couple bow hunters around with a camera while they chase elk around with sticks and strings so I won’t be around when all of this breaks. You can find the article here: HELENA INDEPENDENT RECORD.
Listen up, we need your help to watchdog this situation. I’m going to be in the mountains for a week and the lodge probably won’t have wifi, so I’m counting on my international army of Sasquatch and Yeti Sympathizers to hold Reporter O’Neill accountable for her report. Let’s hope she does a good job of presenting Sktich’s plight, but if not, “Release the hounds!!!”.
By the way, you can contribute to Skitch’s legal defense fund directly through my Paypal account. I’ll probably send you a receipt. On the subject of donations, a special thanks to the pro-Sasquatch team at KENTON ROWE PHOTOGRAPHY for the contribution of cameras and video work for our continuing effort.
