Because we know how important quality optics are to the hunting enthusiast, we at Petersen’s Hunting traveled all the way to the 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas to track down the best new optics for the new year. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Several of the hottest new products came from Zeiss, which introduced the Victory HT and Conquest HD5 scopes and the new Terra scope/binoculars. The Conquest HD5 comes with a rarefied 5x SuperZoom, which Zeiss says is the most advanced in the world. Designed and built in Germany, the new Zeiss line lives up to its rich heritage.
Also new this year was the Bushnell Fusion 1 Mile, a hybrid binocular/laser rangefinder in one. With new matrix display technology, Bushnell was able to provide the clearest, brightest and most true-color hybrid to date in their rangefinder/bino combo.
