HD-30 Soft-Sided Cooler Bag
If you’re looking for a portable soft-sided cooler bag to safely transport your meat and other perishables home, look no further than the new HD-30 Soft-Sided Cooler Bag by ENGEL. Measuring 20 inches long, 10 inches wide and 16 inches tall, it fits most airline size requirements for carry-on luggage and can be easily carried by its tote handles, side handles, or single adjustable padded strap.
The HD-30 is engineered to withstand harsh conditions too, making it an ideal cooler bag for hunters and outdoorsmen. It’s 100% waterproof and unlike most cooler bags, is entirely welded. The welded seams keep warm air out, ensure no water leaks, and keep your beverages and game meat cold for days, even in hot weather. Its welded zipper is also waterproof and air resistant.
The outside of the HD-30 is made of sturdy 840 denier fibers, providing maximum strength and abrasion resistance. For an additional layer of durability and puncture resistance, ENGEL covers the front and back sides of the cooler with a Thermal Plastic Urethane (TPU) film. Inside the cooler, closed-cell foam prevents air from passing through it, which improves the thermal range of the cooler bag.
New to the HD-30 is its patent-pending vacuum valve technology. Use the “Vacuum Valve” on the side of the cooler bag to remove excess air from around the insulation. ENGEL recommends using a vacuum to suck out air before the first use for optimal performance.
This rugged cooler bag weighs only 5.25 pounds and has a capacity of 32 quarts. It includes an integrated bottle opener, water-resistant front pocket, and is available in three colors: blue, green and orange. A seafoam color is coming soon.

Trooper LT 30 and 20 Soft Coolers
Need a rugged, soft cooler to take along on your next adventure? If you do, you’ll want to check out OtterBox’s new Trooper line. The new line features two designs – the Trooper LT 30 and Trooper 20. Both styles will keep your food and drinks cold for up to three days, which is perfect for those multi-day treks.
These new OtterBox coolers are both efficient and durable. They feature premium-grade thermal insulation, have a 65 IP rating to protect against rushing rapids, and are made with a strong base to protect against abrasion.
Both coolers have comfortable extra-wide straps and water-resistant sealed pockets on the outside for extra storage. They include a handy free bottle opener too! The bottle opener attaches perfectly to each coolers’ mounting system. If you use an OtterBox Drybox to protect your smartphone, keys, etc., you’ll want to get the other accessory offered as well, the Drybox Clip. It also conveniently snaps onto the mounting system of the cooler.
The Trooper LT 30 has a 30-quart capacity and can be carried two ways – on the shoulder or as a backpack. It’s extra-large opening makes it a breeze to load items and access them once inside. It’s a bit tricky to open the LT 30 at first, but once you figure it out, it’s easy. With the front of the cooler facing away from you, simply lift the back of the latch up while pushing forward, then pull up to release.
The Trooper 20 is a bit smaller with a 20-quart capacity. It features a padded, two-inch wide carrying strap and a flip-top lid. The lid stays open when needed, which is great because it’s a lot easier to load a cooler when you have two hands.
OtterBox Trooper soft coolers are available in Hazy Harbor (white/blue), Alpine Ascent (tan/green) and Forest Edge (Realtree Xtra camo), and they’re covered with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Mossy Oak Tracker Backpack
Whether you’re planning a single or multi-day hunting trip, you’ll want to add the Tracker by Polar Bear Coolers to your gear list. Designed with hunters in mind, the Tracker is built tough and features an attractive Mossy Oak camouflage exterior. And if that’s not reason enough to invest in one, read on to find out what else makes this cooler a great outdoor companion.
Portable and lightweight, the Tracker is a soft-sided cooler intended to be worn as a backpack. Its wide, padded straps are adjustable and allow for comfortable, hands-free carrying. Measuring 18 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep, the cooler has just enough room inside to pack the essentials you need to remain hydrated and fueled when afield.
This high-performance cooler may be soft, but it’s strong and offers superior insulation. It’s thick closed-cell foam base and body insulate from top to bottom. Perishables stored inside the cooler will stay cold up to 3 days (even in hot weather) and be within arm’s reach every step of your trek.
The Tracker isn’t afraid to tackle the marsh with you on that waterfowl hunt. It’s 100% waterproof – inside and out. The outer shell is made from 1000 denier coated nylon and the FDA-approved inside liner is puncture resistance and pulls out for easy cleaning.
The zippered opening on the cooler is rubber-coated to keep water out and opens wide for easy access. You can even tighten the opening down using the two aluminum buckles for those times you pack light, optimizing space in the cooler and improving ice retention. The buckles can be utilized as bottle openers as well.
Store small non-perishable items, like your keys or first aid kit, in one of the many outside pockets. There are two pockets on the front (one mesh and one zippered) and larger pockets located on the back and sides of the cooler. There is even a small pocket on the left shoulder strap and carabiner attachments on the front of the pack to add extra gear.

Everest Rotomolded Cooler
Another great new cooler for 2018 is the Everest by AO Coolers. This robust 80-quart hard-sided cooler is built to endure the mighty outdoors. It’s rotomolded polyethylene construction provides resistance to sudden impacts and ensures the cooler will last for a long time.
You can confidently take the Everest with you to camp knowing your food and drinks will stay cold for days. The cooler’s thick, 3-inch walls provide excellent ice retention and resistance to outside temperatures.
Because a fully-loaded cooler can often be difficult to transport, the Everest features foam-padded handles on each side. You and a friend can each comfortably grab a handle to carry it from one place to another, without it feeling like a chore.
When you’re ready to pack up camp and drain the cooler, use the screw-in gasketed 1-inch diameter drain plug. Draining the entire cooler involves just one quick twist.
Keep items within the cooler organized and separated with the included divider. Knowing where everything is can help keep your perishables colder longer, because the less time you spend rifling through everything, the less chance cool air has to leak out.
The new Everest cooler is available in White or Deep Blue. It measures 33 inches long, 18 inches wide and 19 inches deep and weighs 35 pounds empty.
