Depending on where you live, bears could be considered one of the more problematic nuisance animals homeowners could ever encounter, and a recent video posted to YouTube explains why.
According to Global News , a Coquitlam, British Columbia, woman was alerted to the sound of two male black bears fighting in her driveway and was able to capture the scene on video.
The two big boars are shown viciously attacking each other, staining the resident's driveway with blood as she watches terrified from inside.
A call to 911 prompted a quick response from conservation officers, who were faced with a tough choice in dealing with the big bruins.

"There was quite a bit of blood on the driveway, quite a bit of black bear fur scattered all over the place and the black bears didn't leave the area," said conservation officer Cody Ambrose.
"They could have been fighting over a sow or they could have been fighting over territory," Ambrose said, adding the animals were acting too aggressively to relocate them; chances are, the bears would have just ended up in someone else's front yard. "... We don't usually see this. It's in a neighborhood on someone's doorstep, so we had to make the decision then and there to destroy them."
Regrettable, Ambrose said, but necessary with the residential population and the presence of city work crews nearby.

Though bears in residential areas are not uncommon, it's rare — and even more concerning — to see two adult males ripping each other apart. Luckily, no humans were harmed during this interaction, but it shows just how threatening this awesome animal can be.
