Petersen’s Hunting was at the 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas for the release of several new and exciting bolt-action rifles that are sure to make a big impact on the hunting world this year. Among the most eye popping was the Weatherby X series, which features the Whitetail Bonz, Kryptek and Black Reaper patterns on a lightweight composite stock.
Browning also had a model to offer, the A-Bolt III, which is set to retail for around $600. Meanwhile Remington revealed their much anticipated new bolt-action, the Model 783, which they say is designed to be the quintessential deer rifle. Boasting of tack driving accuracy on a re-engineered platform, the 783 was a big hit on the trade show floor.
