Duck Hunting Sweden: Fast Action

Duck hunting Sweden is a very different type of hunt than traditional waterfowl outings here in the United States.

On this outing, Petersens Hunting's Kevin Steele gets the chance to take a break from hunting fallow deer to participate in a traditional driven waterfowl hunt while duck hunting Sweden.

No decoys or calling on this hunt. Instead, drivers move ducks off local ponds and waterways towards the hunters. Shots are quick and require plenty of experience leading fast-flying birds.

After the hunt, the birds are given to the landowners (all game in Sweden belongs to the landowner) and taken to market. A different experience than duck hunting here at home but a unique experience nonetheless.
