Kevin Steele is hunting fallow deer in Sweden and enjoys a truly memorable experience in a foreign land.
Steele's trip to Sweden starts with a visit to the Aimpoint factory followed by a trip to a local gun shop that offers a unique moving target system that uses a cool video system.
After that, it was time to hit the fields and get after a trophy fallow buck.
Hunting fallow deer in Sweden means negotiating heavily timbered blocks mixed with open fields and fallow deer are hunted using spot-and-stalk tactics. The deer have many of the same habits and characteristics of whitetails and while there are plenty of fallow bucks around, they prove to be just as elusive as their white-tailed cousins.
