Maple-Whiskey Venison Marinade Recipe
Oh, Canada! Maple, whiskey and the rich umami of Worcestershire all combine to create this sweet and savory venison marinade from north of the border.

Yield: Approximately ½ cup Total time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
¼ cup real maple syrup ¼ cup Canadian whiskey 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 4 garlic cloves, minced Directions:
Whisk all ingredients together until incorporated. Pour Maple-Whiskey Marinade over venison steaks in a zip-top bag. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before grilling. Be sure to reserve some marinade for basting the venison steaks as they grill.
