Fresh from the ATA show floor, here's seven new products that will be worth checking into before next season. From boots to bows, we’ve got something for any mountain hunter in 2023.

Bowtech Carbon One

If you’ve been waiting for the one, Bowtech has you covered with the new flagship Carbon One. The Carbon One’s advanced carbon riser design combined with Bowtech’s easy-tuning Deadlock Cam System delivers what Bowtech says is the most dead-in-the-hand carbon bow ever developed. Weighing in at just 4.5 pounds, it has an IBO speed rating of 335 fps. The Carbon One is compact with only a 30-inch axle-to-axle length, a brace height of 6.63 inches, and it accommodates draw lengths of 25.5-30.5 inches. They’ve strategically positioned the Orbit Dampeners to aid with noise and vibration reduction, the tack-driving Carbon One is certainly worth a test drive this season.

Irish Setter Elk Tracker XD

The latest iteration of Irish Setter’s Elk Tracker, the XD is sure to be even more rugged and durable. With a full-leather upper this boot prevents debris from entering while protecting your feet against rocks, sticks and other objects. A lace-to-toe fit ensures a snugger fit and helps to reduce discomfort, especially in steep terrain. Their TempSens technology helps to regulate moisture in hot environments but also creates a thermal barrier in colder conditions. The boot features waterproof construction thanks to the UltraDry material. Available in both 8-and 10-inch noninsulated models, as well as an 8-inch with 200-gram of Primaloft insulation.

Black Gold Mountain Lite Dual Trac

Black Gold's new Mountain Lite Dual Trac is sure to be a hit with the stick-and-string crowd. This two-pin vertical sight will give mountain bowhunters a pair of aiming points. Specifically designed to help keep bow weight down while boosting maneuverability, the ML base is more compact and ultralight. Built with extremely bright .019-inch Pro Pins and a PhotoChromatic shell, pin brightness adapts well to all lighting conditions for increased pin clarity and less target blackout. Their Dial of Death feature allows archers the ability to instantly dial to predetermined yardages with a dual indicator system for short and long yardage reference points. Garmin inReach Messenger

Garmin’s inReach Messenger is a small, rugged, lightweight gadget that enables two-way text messages to stay in contact even with no cell service. Using the free Garmin Messenger smartphone app, you can connect with friends and family with preset messages that do not count toward your allotted messaging rate. The internal, rechargeable battery has a 28-day battery life in 10-minute tracking mode, as well as having a boost charge to recover your depleted smartphone if needed.

New for 2023, the brand has launched its first Half-Scale Elk Target. Like its predecessors, this target features a four-sided core that sits in the silhouette of one of North America’s largest and most sought-after big game animals.What’s more, you get all this without the size or expense of a life-sized version.
