New for 2021: Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon Rifle New Chamberings, Stock Updates

When Nosler Rifles senior operations manager Jeff Sipe visited with North American Whitetail TV host and NAW magazine publisher Laden Force, the topic quickly turned to improvements and new additions in the Nosler M48 Carbon Rifles series made for success in the whitetail woods and in the backcountry where western big game animals roam.

Coming with a 100% Carbon Fiber Mountain Hunter Stock specifically made for the Nosler M48 action, the rifles now come in Carbon Fiber Mountain Green and the new Carbon Fiber Mountain Gray stock color schemes that still provide maximum weight savings for the backcountry hunter.

With all external metal surfaces coated with the NIC Industries Tungsten Grey Cerakote finish, the M48 series features long action and short action caliber options that come with fully free-floating, 24-inch Light Sendero Contour Barrels with a 5/8x24 Threaded Muzzle. Coming with an easy to use lightweight aluminum hinged floorplate that offers quick unloading, these Nosler rifles and their carbon fiber-wrapped barrels also offer hunters a variety of twist rates ranging from 1-7.5" up to 1-10".

With a textured stock finish that ensures hunters maintain a proper grip in the cold or wet weather so often found in the woods and on the side of a mountain, these rifles are contoured to accept any standard 2-piece scope base that would otherwise fit a Remington® Model 700 rifle, opening up a wide array of optic options for hunters looking to settle the crosshairs on the boiler room of the buck or bull of their dreams.

Available in the tried and true long action caliber offerings of .26 Nosler, .28 Nosler, .30 Nosler, and .33 Nosler, there is also a new long action .27 Nosler option this year. There are also the familiar short action 6.5 Creedmoor and 6mm Creedmoor rifles, as well as a new 6.5 PRC short action rifle. Add in the familiar long action .300 Win Mag rifle and the new .280 Ackley Improved (AI) short action rifle offering, and there’s a Nosler M48 Carbon Rifle to fit virtually any hunting need in North America and beyond.

Regardless of which caliber or color scheme option you choose, these M48 Carbon Rifles are the perfect way to get into a hard-hitting, affordable, lightweight, accurate, and high precision rifle from Nosler. MSRP: $3,140; For more information, please visit: nosler.com
