Did you ever imagine an advocacy group would consider famous flesh trader/hedgehog look-a-like Ron Jeremy to be a fine vehicle for their message? It's not like he's going to going to show up in the Book Mobile with a gaggle of blondes touting literacy anytime soon.
But, heck, when you're PETA and it's 2012, who gives a shitzu?
If you are so inclined (and we hope that never happens), just click over to PETA.xxx to check out Jeremy's message for all the porn/animal rights fans out there.

"[T]his is the perfect example of sex just being used to draw interest, and then once you're there on the site, we're going to hit you with facts that you need to know about the world of animals," he proclaims.
Well, thanks Ron, for the lesson in horrible marketing. This site is just another in a long line of desperate measures for PETA, who now seem to be a proponent of both eating and having sex with vegetables. (Seriously, they made a video.)
PETA.xxx qualifies for its erotic domain name by showing partially nude shots of celebrities and porn stars all-the-while sprinkling in tidbits about McDonalds' evil McNugget schemes and hunting's blood lust. They even invite users to submit photos of themselves going nude for animal rights.

Scare and shock tactics aside, this trend simply denotes how far these people will take this fight. Why then, isn't anyone in the hunting community fighting back with full force?
I'm not quite smart enough to answer that question, so I wanted to get reader opinion. How would you suggest we bring attention to the positive side of hunting?
Would you go as far as PETA to ultimately protect our heritage? Start the debate.
