Remington is one of the largest suppliers of American ammunition, and when they went bankrupt in 2020 many folks had trouble finding their go-to favorites. 2020 broke all sorts of records for first time gun buyers, ammunition purchases and gun sales. With that influx came an ammunition shortage, but that was 2020.

“I’m sick and tired of not be able to find Remington ammunition on the shelf. We are fixing that!” said Jason Vanderbrink, owner of Remington Ammunition. “American manufacturing is back. The Big Green is back!”
Remington has hired 4,000 American workers to ensure that their Lonoke, Arkansas facility runs seven days a week. They know that American shooters, hunters, and gun enthusiasts rely on their ammunition lines to support their hobbies; and that dependability hasn’t been forgotten. Yes, economic troubles made Remington stumble; but after 205 years of business, the brand was too strong to stay down. Thanks to the investors at Vista Outdoors, the Remington Ammunition brand that we have all known and trusted is here to stay.

“Remington is synonymous with American itself,” says Vanderbrink.
And that’s true. Over the past two centuries, Remington has helped arm and supply our troops in both world wars. They’ve also provided hunters and shooters reliable products for every game imaginable. Dove, turkey, elk, deer you name it and they’ve made it.
With the Lonoke Arkansas facility back and fully supplied, “American manufacturing is about to soar,” said Vanderbrink.
