One of the fun things about attending the annual NRA show is that many manufacturers introduced new products at this show. Here are five new products for hunters we discovered at the 2017 NRA Show in Atlanta.
Walker's Game Ear
When it comes to producing products that both protect your hearing while enhancing your ability to hear approaching game, nobody does it better than the folks Walker's Game Ear. This year they've introduced a number of products that hunters will appreciate — all built with Walker's unique technology that cuts out hearing damaging noise while allowing you to magnify the sound of everything that's going on around you, from a conversation at the range during active live-fire sessions to a big buck or turkey tip-toeing up behind your stand.

1. Silencer Ear Buds
The big news at the NRA show was the introduction of Walker's new Silencer Electronic Ear Buds. Like many of the models in Walker's classic line of ear muffs, Silencer Ear Buds deliver super clear hearing enhancement while cutting out loud, ear damaging sounds, like gun shots. Another big advantage is that the tiny buds eliminate the need to wear bulkier headphones, which can get in the way of proper form when you're shooting a rifle or a bow.
Silencer Buds have independent volume controls for each ear as well as integrated omnidirectional microphones, which pick up and enhance non-damaging sounds from any direction. And because they're buds, they're lighter, easier to use and more comfortable to wear during hot weather when bulkier headsets can get hot.

Each set comes with small, medium and large ear buds, so you can choose the size that's just right for your ears. And each set comes with a removable lanyard, four #10 batteries and a carrying case.
2. Muffs
For those who do a lot of shooting in cold weather, where muffs are outstanding, to those who simply prefer the feel and protection that classic muff protectors provide, Walker's has introduced a full line of new products. New introductions range from downsized muffs that fit children from infant-age up to teenagers, to higher end muffs, like their Ultimate Series, which provide an even higher noise reduction rating for those shooting high-caliber rifles and big-bore pistol shooters.

Zeiss
Zeiss introduced a new line of Conquest 6 riflescopes at NRA that takes shooting optics to a whole new level. Made in Germany to Zeiss's highest level of quality, the new Conquest V6 features true 6X zoom, a 30mm tube and up to 103 MOA of elevation adjustment. Zeiss has then taken their quality up to a whole new level by using Zeiss FL (Fluoride) glass and special T lens coatings formulated for each individual lens in these scopes. What this delivers for hunters and shooters is industry-leading resolution and shooter accuracy no matter what the target is.
These new scopes will be available in three variations.
3. V6 1-6x24
The V6 1-6x24 is the smallest scope in the series — perfect to place on a big-bore rifle — with a wide field of view for close quarters work on game in thick cover or any animal at medium range. This setup also works great for 3-gun competitors.
4. V6 3-18x50
The V6 3-18x50 is perhaps the most versatile scope in the series — perfect for the western hunter headed into elk, mule deer, antelope or sheep country. The compact, low-profile design features ¼- MOA click adjustments, side parallax and a variety of reticle choices.
5. V6 5-30x50
Lastly, the V6 5-30x50 provides the most compact high-magnification riflescope on the market, offering a perfect solution for mid- to long-range hunting and precision shooting situations. The wide magnification range covers a full range of hunting options from varmint and predator hunting to long-range shots on big game. This scope also features side parallax adjustment and comes in a variety of ballistic reticle choices.
