Mossy Oak Spearheading Relief Effort for Texas

Mossy Oak Spearheading Relief Effort for Texas

Hurricane Harvey dealt a serious blow to the state of Texas, devastating both homes and wildlife.  Mossy Oak, has teamed up with several conservation partners in the outdoors to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The popular camouflage company announced it is producing and selling specially made ""Rise Above" T-shirts, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to support victims of Hurricane Harvey, the first Category Four hurricane to impact Texas since Carla in 1961.

Mossy Oak has partnered with Coastal Conservation Association, B.A.S.S., Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation and Quality Deer Management Association in the project. T-shirt maker Gildan donated thousands of shirts to support the cause. You can help, too.

"Texas is a special place to the outdoors community, and seeing the devastation left from Hurricane Harvey and the many hurting people, we had to do something," Daniel Haas, New Media Coordinator for Mossy Oak, said in a news release. "We have joined conservation organizations, and with the help of Gildan that donated the t-shirts for screen-printing the 'Rise Above' design, to step up and help the people of Texas with 100 percent of the T-shirt purchase price going to help those affected by the hurricane."

This important relief campaign will run through Sept. 22 with donations to be made no later than Sept. 30 to a relief efforts.
